This blog will explore the relationship between Biblical Christianity most faitfully expressed in the Calvinistic confessions and its relationship to religious and civil liberty. The thesis will be set forth in papers and dialogues that Religious and Civil liberty is most consistently applied and defended in a Calvinistic context. Conversely, when the tenets of Calvinism are denied, political tyranny is soon to follow. If autonomous sinful man is made absolute and granted sovereignty only allowed for God, then there is no check upon his power. His word is absolute. Good and evil are now only defined in terms of the State, and the state's representative.
